The designer told ET her tips for creating festive outfits while hosting an exclusive cocktail hour at Spin Holiday shop at The Grove in Los Angeles, California with the 1960 House of Harlow and The Flamingo Estate on November 21.
“Fall and winter are my favorite seasons to dress up. I think this is the time I can be most creative,” she explained.
As for how the actress does it: “I love wearing warm jewel tones and getting into the holiday vibe. … I love the burgundy and fisherman leather jackets from House of Harlow. They add a little edge to holiday outfits that feel more elegant and reserved.”
Another way Richie, 43, elevates her look is by piling on jewelry.
“Jewelry always works to help add a little sparkle to your feelings and your soul,” she noted.
While fans are looking forward to watching a special interview with her Paris Hilton, Paris and Nicole: Encoreout December 12 on Peacock, don’t expect to see Richie in her famous, nostalgic outfits.
“(I would never) wear any of them (now),” she spilled.
But what Richie can always get is a thoughtful Christmas gift.
“I would love the pillows with my dogs face on them this year. … I’ve never received a bad holiday gift. I believe gift giving is a true act of love and I appreciate it all.”
