Ayodhya:
Diwali is celebrated in India. Every corner of the country is illuminated. This is the first Diwali after the construction of a grand temple of Lord Shri Ram in the city of Ayodhya and the consecration of Ramlala. Deepotsav is celebrated at Ram Temple on the occasion of Chhoti Diwali on Wednesday. This time, 25,000 lamps will be lit on the banks of the Saryu River, and will be recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records. Yogi Adityanath started the Depotsav by lighting the first lamp. Then the lamps were lit at Ram Badi.
At the beginning of the programme, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived with artistes dressed as Lord Shri Ram, Mata Sita and Laxman in Pushpak Viman. CM welcomed him. Then Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita and Lakshman rode on the chariot. CM Yogi pulled Shri Ram’s chariot. Devotees cheered as the chariot reached Ramkatha Park. Jai Shri Ram slogans kept being raised.”
The aarti was performed by Yogi Ram Sita and Lakshman and Raj Tilak performed. After this, Yogi Adityanath also offered special prayers at the Ram temple. Yogi then also addressed the programme.

After a long wait of 500 years, Ramlala sat down in Ayodhya.
CM Yogi said, “Thousands of years ago, to commemorate the arrival of Lord Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram in Ayodhya after 14 years of exile and the beginning of Ramarajya, devotees across India began celebrating this festival by decorating their homes with garlands of lamps. Mathura-Kashi should look like Diwali like Ayodhya
CM Yogi said that these lamps that you will light are not just lamps. This is the belief of Sanatan Dharma. The people of Ayodhya will have to come forward. Diwali should be seen like Ayodhya in Mathura-Kashi.
